Making your search for Seattle area homes a breeze.
My goal is for you to find Seattle area homes as quickly as possible. To that end, I have designed custom searches for different geographic regions of the greater Seattle area. If you are familiar with the Seattle area, you will see the logic of this approach. If you are new to the Seattle area, this will make your search efficient and get you acquainted with the greater Seattle geography.
Find Seattle area homes in King and Snohomish Counties.
There are currently 15 Seattle areas that you can easily access from the SEARCH pull-down menu above. The 15 areas represent population centers in King and Snohomish County. While each of them shows one city name, some of them include neighboring cities. For example, the Medina home search includes Hunts Point, Yarrow Point, and Clyde Hill. What these four cities have in common aside from location is their exclusivity. Likewise, the search for Monroe homes includes Duvall and Carnation. What these three cities share is their easterly location and the shores of the Snoqualmie River.
Following the same logic, the Kirkland home search includes Juanita, the Bellevue home search includes New Castle, the Lynnwood home search includes Brier and Mountlake Terrace; the Bothell home search includes Kenmore and Lake Forest Park; the Shoreline home search includes Edmonds, Mukilteo, and Woodway; and the Everett home search includes Mill Creek and the city of Snohomish.
Find Puget Sound homes west of Seattle.
Washinton State has the nation’s largest ferry system. Ferries provide public transport for commuters who work in Seattle and live across the Puget Sound. Every weekday morning, more than 75,000 Puget Sound residents commute to work or school on board a Washington State Ferry. The ferries also are the main means of transportation for vacationers.
I have created six geographic “island” searches. You will find vacation properties in all locations. Homes for commuters are limited only by your available time and the ferry system schedule.
- San Juan Island, Friday Harbor, Orcas Island, Lopez Island, Decatur Island, Shaw Island
- Port Angeles, Port Townsend, Sequim, Joyce, Quilcene, Port Ludlow
- Camano Island
- Bainbridge Island, Kingston, Bremerton, Poulsbo, Silverdale
- Oak Harbor, Coupeville, Clinton, Freeland, Langley
- Port Orchard, Vashon
Looking to find Seattle area homes cities in Skagit, Whatcom, and Pierce counties?
If you are looking to find Seattle are homes in cities and areas not covered by these custom searches, such as the northern counties of Skagit and Whatcom or the southern county of Pierce, drop me an email or send me a text. Depending on the circumstances, I will assist you personally or refer you to another competent real estate agent.
Where does the data come from?
All property listings come from the Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS). The listings on SERENE are updated every 30 minutes. Only active listings are displayed as a result of these searches. If you are interested in data for pending and sold properties, please email Gerhard or text/call him 425-891-8213.
Note: While the NWMLS classifies some municipalities as cities, some of these “cities” are more like neighborhoods. For example, the NWMLS still classifies Juanita as a city although it was annexed by the city of Kirkland in 2011.
