Seat­tle offers a great vari­ety of neigh­bor­hoods, archi­tec­tural styles and lifestyles.

Seat­tle is defined by the water that sur­rounds and dis­sects the city and the East­side city-suburbs. This, and the zon­ing laws, make for a scarcity of land.

Peo­ple mov­ing here can be bewil­dered by the many choices. In the end, many of them buy homes based on what mat­ters most, be that the love of the out­doors, access to pub­lic trans­port, or prox­im­ity to schools.
