How this Snohomish home sold.
This Snohomish home sold for three reasons. It was priced correctly, well prepared to be listed, and presented to look its best. The pricing of this home was driven by new construction in the area. The owners did a fabulous job of getting the home ready for showings. The presentation attracted the right kind of buyers and resulted in a full-price offer and acceptance after just 21 days. Given the somewhat rural location, this was a good result. For the sellers who were relocating to California, the timing could not have been better.
My marketing emphasized the high quality of the home improvements. I knew that buyers would welcome the gas generator in an area prone to power outages. In fact, there was a power outage one day before closing! I knew buyers would appreciate the top quality of the appliances. Once inside at a showing, they saw the care with which the home had been maintained.
The seller’s circumstances required me to strike a good balance between providing reasonable access and preserving the family privacy and security.
