Juanita Neighborhood: the best of Bothell and Kirkland
The Serenity at Juanita condo complex is located on the north side of Woodinville-Juanita road. It has a Bothell address. Across the street, the homes on the south side are located in Kirkland. The main road connecting Bothell and Kirkland is 100th Ave NE.
Traveling north and turning east on state route 522 gets you to Bothell Landing, a restful city park along the Sammamish River. Central to the park is an outdoor facility used for local entertainment, as well as the Sammamish River Trail, a popular 10-mile walking, and biking route that connects to the Burke-Gilman Trail. To the north is the old Bothell downtown, which has been restored after suffering from a major fire a year ago. To the west of downtown is the McMenamins Anderson School. After opening in October 2015, the hotel, restaurants, and other attractions have been busy drawing visitors from near and far.
When you take 100th Ave NE southward, you will reach Juanita Village and Juanita State Park. There, from one of the many restaurants, it’s only a short walk to the shores of Lake Washington. If you enjoy bird watching the park is the place to go.
