A Dog’s Perspective
Hi, my name is Sugar. I’m not the one who put the sign up that says Kingsgate Kirkland home for sale. However, I used to live here with my owners and little sister (a Doxie called Tiger). I am the 4th Samoyed to have lived here, and I can tell you that Lendemain is the perfect place for dogs. There is an off-leash area a few minutes away. A large park and the Tolt trail are just one block away. My owners liked to walk with me to Safeway and the vet (ugh). There is an Elementary school and a Junior High just a short walk away. I used to go there with my sister to meet the students. My dad likes the short drive to the freeway and to the groomer. Camille at Petsmart has been my groomer for a long time. She’s very nice.
My dad says that this area has grown a lot in 40 years. There are more places to shop, some good sushi (not Tiger’s taste) and even movie theaters. Sometimes we drive to Woodinville and walk along the river. It’s a very nice trail that goes all the way to Seattle and Redmond.
I like to sit or sleep on the front deck where I can watch people come and go. Most of them have lived here for about 30 years. They all watch out for each other when the neighbors are away. The fenced yard is ok, but I do like the front yard better so I can keep an eye on things
If you move here, I think you will like it a lot. If you know some first-time buyers with dogs tell them that there’s a Kingsgate Kirkland Home for Sale!
